How many villas are there and are they all the same?
This is an exclusive development consisting of a total of four villas. Three of them (Type I) have the same design and the fourth one (Type 2) is very similar but has a double garage and more land.

Each villa has a living area of 200m²(2,153ft²). Most of the living area is downstairs. Upstairs is the main bedroom and veranda. The type II villa is slightly bigger due to the double garage. There is a beautiful living room complete with vaulted ceiling and fireplace, a storeroom, washing and drying room
How big is the plot?
The type I villa is built on a closed plot of 1065m²(0.26 acres) while the type II villa has a plot of 1495m²(0.37 acres)

Are the houses freehold or leasehold?
They are all freehold.
How many bathrooms are there?
There are two main bathrooms plus a WC with shower.
What is the swimming pool like?
The swimming pool is 8 x 4 metres and comes with illumination and shower.

Is this a good investment?
Fuerteventura enjoys a sunny but not too hot climate all the year round (see below). If you are not planning to live in Fuerteventura all the year round it is easy to rent because of the guaranteed good weather. The houses also come with a spacious store room where you can lock up your possessions.

Why Fuerteventura?
Fuerteventura boasts the most impressive beaches in Europe? There is nowhere else in the Canaries with as many enormous sand dunes and long sandy beaches (more than one hundred and fifty). Low construction density. With less than 4% of the surface built on Fuerteventura has more space per person of all the Canary Islands

What is la Oliva like? What amenities does it have?
If you are looking to escape from the tourist traps La Oliva is a good choice. The village is unspoiled with a good selection of local amenities. It has banks, primary school, secondary school, health centre, supermarkets, restaurants, large municipal swimming pool, park and museums (etc...)

How far is it from the beach?
El cotillo is a 10 min drive away. About 15 km (9.4 miles). Corralejo is less than 20 minutes in car. About 16km (10m)
Is there any public transport?
There is an hourly bus service to El Cotillo, Corralejo and Puerto del Rosario. There is also a taxi stand in La Oliva.
What is the climate like?
Mild and sunny all the year round. Temperatures vary from an average 21ºC (70ºF) in January to an average 28ºC (82ºF) in August. Weather conditions are quite similar to Florida and Mexico which lie on the same latitude. It is known as the Spanish Carribean.

How far is it from the airport?
About 25km (25 min drive approximately).
What flights are there from the UK?
There are a variety of inexpensive flights available from the UK to Fuerteventura. Operators include Iberia, Excel, Thomas Cook Airlines, First Choice and Thomson Fly. The latter alone offers direct flights from Birmingham,Bristol,Glasgow,Gatwick, Stanstead, Manchester, Newcastle and Nottingham all the year round and also from Humberside and Leeds-Bradford between May and October.
Is Fuerteventura a good place to retire?
This is a very personal decision. Apart from the climate other factors to take into consideration are the high quality of the Spanish Health System and the widely accepted use of English as a second language.

Taxes?
Purchase tax in the Canary Islands is 5%. There is also an additonal tax of 0.75%. Deed registration will cost about 1,500€.
What about a mortgage?
There is an existent mortgage on each property. It may be possible to transfer this mortgage to the buyer, if so wished, for up to 70%.
